Swisscom archives ITSM data to HTML and sets data into a custom
form for easy search and retrieval.
They are using Meta-Update for additional
data automations.

Vattenfall uses Meta-Archive to archive to a
separate ITSM instance. They were on ITSM 8.1 and were migrating to 9 when
they were comparing OOTB ITSM 9 archiving and
Meta-Archive.
They decided on Meta-Archive
because of the robust, granular configuration, separate ITSM instance, and
associations checking.

A fixed-price ITSM 7 to 8.1 migration
— moving from a single operating company to eight (and
moving people and CIs accordingly).
Included were all foundation data, templates, all Root Requests, some Changes to Releases
(and the change's tasks to Release activities), the CMDB - changing classes & CTI an
improved product catalogue.
No Data Management templates were used.
As the development team added fields and workflow to the new system,
and as changes were occuring on production, the target systems were
continuously updated.

They celebrated 100 million records some years ago.
Their POC script

changed users' logins across a configurable set of forms and fields
— including status history, and text strings — reducing a 6-month
manual effort to a few days.

over a year of production usage.
A fixed price script was developed that processed
a spreadsheet of class transition specs and the Product Catalog, all CIs and relationships
were placed in their
correct classes - in two days.
